Contemporary Elizabethan

I have chosen this portrait because it show a beautiful rich velvet dress, symbolise for me her personality and character."The  Ermine portrait of Elizabeth I" 1585 painted by Nicholas Hilliard. On this portrait Elizabeth age of 52 , in the middle of her reign shows her composure and internal warmth and also her whole beauty.

I have chosen Cara Delavingne for my contemporary portrait because she is  famous and beautiful young British model. Her stunning, sexy, lace dress emphasizes her beauty and sultry look. I love that make-up what she's wearing, she's look so perfect and brilliantly on red carpet look.

Between those portraits I can see a similarities; both of them look always perfect, they are chosen dresses which define theirs personality, character and charisma. 

If I had a chance to change something in Elizabeth I portrait, definitely the background, I see her on a beautiful nature between trees and on the meadow, shows her natural beauty and fragility and also the strength and power.

Cara's look really reflecting the firmness and strength of Elizabeth I.
